Project  in brief
• The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, may Allah protect him, laid the foundation stone of this financial edifice in Riyadh on 11/4/1427H, with the aim to bring together the financial institutions, as well as the other financial bodies and the relevant facilities and services, under the name: King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD).

• The project is completely owned by the Public Pension Agency (PPA), represented by its investment arm, Al-Raidah Investment Company, by which the project is carried out and managed.

• The project is located north of Riyadh, on a total area of 1.6 million square meters. In terms of size, it is comparable to London Canary Wharf, which occupies an area of 345.000 square meters.

• KAFD will also contain the headquarters of the Financial Market (Tadawul), in addition to a financial academy, and the premises of numerous banks, companies and other financial institutions, alongside financial services companies and other multinational corporations.

• The project is especially designed to meet the growing demand for class-A offices equipped with all the modern, high-tech capabilities.
• In addition to the world-class offices and apartments, KAFD contains a financial academy and recreational facilities.

• The KAFD Financial Academy is envisaged to meet the domestically high demand for manpower qualified in the financial domain, and modern investment management.

• The Financial Market Tower, to be located in the heart of the district, will be the highest of all KAFD towers (385 meters height).

• KAFD is reachable from the airport, and is served by a network of the existing main road.

• KAFD is near to the Commercial Area located in al-Olaya Region.
